Aircraft Torque Multipliers

A full range of styles and torque outputs (up to 83,000 lb-ft.), for use on: main bearing retaining nuts, coupling nuts and other high torque turbine applications.

Hydratight's Sweeney brand of Torque Multipliers are easy to use and extremely durable, with high efficiencies. Torque multipliers used for aircraft engine applications have a through output spline, designed specifically for use with anchor pins on either side of the fastener for reaction purposes.

Torque multiplier accessories include anchors and sockets, made to either our design or to OEM designs. These accessories are designed to work with our multipliers and are unique for various engine applications. We also provide work handles, slings and pneumatic and mechanical input devices for our multipliers.

We provide special application tooling for gas turbine engine maintenance. These tools are available for all major engines and can be built to either our designs or those of the OEMs. In addition, we provide lifts, stands, adapters and other assorted ground handling equipment for many propeller and helicopter applications.
