Hydratight has added another facility, Red Wing - Minnesota, to their list of accredited sites to ISO9001:2000. In February, Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) conducted an intensive four day audit in Red Wing before recommending them for certification. They are now added to Hydratight's global list of ISO certified facilities, which is now nearly universal:

UK sites - Walsall (AX10), Walsall (Balmoral House), Morpeth, Aberdeen
US sites - Houston, Antigo, Red Wing
Trinidad - Point Lisas
Netherlands - Alkmaar

Work is currently underway to add the following sites by the end of 2008:
France - Paris
Netherlands - Breda
Brazil - Rio De Janeiro, Macae

Over the past 12 months there has been a significant improvement to the Quality Management System, achieved from excellent global teamwork and a desire to implement and improve the QMS to a status which reflects our position within the industry.

Hydratight has now reached a position where the confidence gained by LRQA means they are prepared to move to a 'multi-site sampling routine' on our Quality Management System (they do not have to visit every facility on every occasion). This offers a significant cost saving; their overall impression is the effectiveness of the QMS continues to improve which better serves the business needs of Hydratight and our customers.

With the addition of the Red Wing, Minnesota site achieving ISO9001 status, now all Hydratight manufacturing facilities have achieved this rank.
