Quickcoupling

The Quickcoupling is an evolution of the Quickflange product, designed to offer the same performance, flexibility and availability in a pipe-pipe coupling design.

Quickcoupling is perfect for the emergency repair of medium pressure, mid-size oil and gas pipelines. The product suits a variety of pipelines from 4" through to 16" in up to 900lb rating as standard, although the connector can be reconfigured to suit higher or lower pressures and non-standard pipe.

Quickcoupling removes the need for flanges in the pipeline, and provides significant operational benefits:

  • No subsea assembly of flanges
  • Removal of flanges as inherent weak-points in the system
  • Twin external test facility allows entire joint to be seal-tested prior to re-filling the line
  • No pre-fabrication of repair spool - just cut to length

The Quickcoupling can be manufactured from the component stock for the Quickflange inventory, and is therefore generally available on a short lead time.
