Morgrip 2000 Series topside connectors are available in a variety of formats used for temporary and permanent tie-ins and the repair of critical topside pipework.

The 2000 Series is an established and trusted method of connection for all critical and non-critical lines onshore and offshore, and on manned and unmanned installations worldwide.

There are over 700 such connectors installed to date, with no leakage or failure.

The product is used in critical and non-critical flange replacement, pipe work re-routing and spool repair applications, and carries DNV and Lloyds Register type approval for permanent use.

Available for 1” through to 12” and up to 2500lb ANSI class (for larger diameter pipes, the 3000 Series range is used), the 2000 Series is a firesafe connector with a twin graphite/metal seal.

Flange Adapter

The 2000 Series flange adapter is used to terminate a bare-end pipe with a standard flange or hub and is assembled on the pipe in a series of easy to handle ring components. The product is used in flange replacement, pipework re-routing and spool repair.

The flange adapter provides a permanent or temporary firesafe connection for pipes up to 12" nominal bore and up to a pressure rating of 2500lb ANSI.

It has an external pressure test facility allowing the seal between the pipe and the connector to be tested prior to re-commissioning the line.

The connector is available for carbon steel, stainless steel and duplex pipe applications.

Coupling

The Morgrip 2000 joins one bare-end pipe direct to another and is assembled on the pipe in a series of easy to handle ring components. The coupling has a twin external pressure test facility allowing the whole joint to be tested prior to re-commissioning the line.

The coupling provides a permanent or temporary firesafe connection for pipes up to 12" nominal bore, and up to a pressure rating of 2500lb ANSI.

Pipe Adapter

The 2000 Series pipe adapter is pre-welded to the bare-end pipe as part of the fabrication process. The connector is then used to connect to existing pipework without hotwork. The pipe adapter has an external pressure test facility allowing the seal between the pipe and the connector to be tested prior to re-commissioning the line.

Blind Connector

The 2000 Series blind connector provides a simple and effective way of blinding-off redundant pipe or it can be used for pressure test purposes. The blind connector can be installed as a permanent fixture or can be re-used for testing of numerous pipe spools. The connector is installed cold, in easily manageable ring components and has an external pressure test facility allowing the seal between the pipe and the connector to be tested prior to re-commissioning the line.
