Hydratight on Show

HYDRATIGHT'S recent exhibition appearances have been very successful - as well as attracting some VIP visitors.

The company's newly designed exhibition stand got its first outing in August at ONS, and has since appeared at HUSUMWind in September, KIOGE in October and ADIPEC in November

At ONS 2008 in Stavanger, Norway the stand attracted several VIP guests - none more senior than Madame Ambassador Brigitte Collet, the French government's representative in Norway since May 2008.

Madame Collet was given a brief tour of the stand by Wayne Dennis, UK and Norway business leader and introduced to Alain Wald, Hydratight's Europe, Middle East and Africa business leader.

Hydratight's ONS team was there in support of new Stavanger station sales manager, Stig Aalen.

"This was our first ONS as a Stavanger-native company and, with several projects already secured and a very positive response from other exhibitors and visitors, we did excellent groundwork for the future," said Wayne Dennis.

The exhibition team had a final outing in November when the response was the same at the vast Adipec exhibition at Abu Dhabi, with many of the thousands of oil and gas industry visitors stopping to see Hydratight's latest product and service offerings.

The company will have a strong presence at several conferences and exhibitions in the first quarter of 2009.

This month Hydratight will be at the Texas City Industrial Show (Lobos, January 21-22) exhibiting the new and expanded services available from Hydratight following the acquisition of SPS and Patriot Tools; and the Energy Conference (January 28-29).

Clients will have the chance to see some of Hydratight's products in action at the 30th annual Energy Generation Conference in Bismarck North Dakota (January 27-29). Steve Earney, Brian Ahrens and the Hydratight team will be there demonstrating a variety of bolting and machining mock-ups.

Our bolting and machining capabilities will also be showcased on January 29 in Columbia, South Carolina. Hydratight's Mooresboro facility appears at the 19th annual South Carolina Electric and Gas Company Fossil-Nuclear Information Exchange Meeting.

In February, we are at Subsea UK (11-12), Europe's biggest subsea exhibition of the year, in Aberdeen; and at the Australasian Oil and Gas Exhibition in Perth (17-19), this year proclaimed as the biggest oil and gas exhibition ever staged in the southern hemisphere.

In March, Hydratight is in San Antonio, Texas again for the annual Subsea Tieback Forum and Exhibition (3-5), at which the latest theories and equipment are revealed in pursuit of tying new, smaller oil discoveries into existing fields

And at the end of March the company will be exhibiting at OMC 2009 (25-27) in Ravenna, Italy - the year's major conference for the Mediterranean offshore fields
