New Hydratight Business Leader

Hydratight, an engineering leader in providing asset integrity for the oil and gas, power generation and aerospace industries, announced on Thursday that Jan de Koning, a veteran to Actuant Corporation and most recently a member of the Electrical Segment Leadership Team, has been named its Business Leader with effect from 1st September 2010. Prior to his role at Actuant, within the Electrical Segment Leadership, de Koning has held leadership positions with Power Packer, Enerpac and Kopp. In addition to leading these organizations’ growth, de Koning has extensive executive experience with operations, continuous improvement, sales and marketing for successful industrial organisations.
Jan de Koning is replacing Phil Maxted who made the decision to step down from the position for personal reasons. Maxted will remain with Hydratight as part of its Leadership Team, focusing on special projects. Maxted has over 25 years with Hydratight, the last three as Business Leader.
Brian Kobylinski, Executive Vice President – Industrial & Energy Segments for Actuant, said “I am excited to announce Jan has accepted the position. His 30 years of international business experience, knowledge of Actuant and past leadership roles will all be assets in moving Hydratight and the greater Industrial & Energy Segments forward.
