Software Introduction

Hydratight pioneered the use of software to support bolting applications 10 years ago. And we have continued its development based on user feedback and technology advances.

Today, Hydratight has the most comprehensive suite of joint integrity software available. The package contains a web-based calculation service, PC or network based bolting calculations, and a system for the management of all joint related data. Together they are part of the Hydratight Joint Integrity Management System (JIMS).

Implementation of an Integrity Management System has been shown to greatly reduce the impact of joint failure in both a new build and a maintenance environment, bringing significant time and cost savings as a result.

The software is used extensively within Hydratight but increasingly by a wide range of clients worldwide.
