Our Training Instructors
The quality of training instructors remains key to the successful delivery of our courses.
All Hydratight training instructors have extensive on-site and offshore experience, and they are all are approved TECSkills Coaches, approved to deliver TECSkills Training.
They have all come from an on-site technician or supervisory role, and are experienced in both bolting and machining in a wide variety of UK and international locations. Their experience is accompanied by formal training and assessment qualifications to ensure that they provide your trainees with the best possible guidance.
Know your trainer before he arrives
At present, Hydratight has four qualified Commercial Training Instructors, all ECITB TECSkills Coaches. Their Teaching Certificates are combined with the relevant experience detailed below.
Jillian Seivwright is the Global Hydratight Training and Competence Coordinator and is a qualified ECITB TECSkills Coach based at our flagship Training Academy in Aberdeen. Jillian is available to discuss clients training requirements and to arrange Training Resource and ECITB registrations.
John Wilson has 18 years service with Hydratight. John is a Qualified Trainer and NVQ A1 assessor, working towards NVQ V1 Verification, and travels both UK and Overseas providing Accredited Training Courses. John has many years experience working as a Senior Technician, using his vast experience to supervise Turnarounds and Shutdowns across the Globe.
Micheal Cain has 18 years service with Hydratight. Michael is working towards NVQ A1 Assessor and has many years of site experience, on the bolting and machining side of the business. QA Inspector and Workshop Supervisor remains key positions Michael has held within his Hydratight Service.
Ron Braid has 25 years service with Hydratight. Ron was instrumental in the design and construction of the ECITB NSDS Course PF015, and has vast experience Training both UK and Overseas candidates over many years. Ron is also a NVQ A1 Assessor.
Tony Harding has 12 years service with Hydratight. Tony is a Global Training Instructor with excellent commercial/communication skills. He has delivered training courses all over the world, and remains responsible for managing some of the key accounts developed within the Commercial Training Department. He is an Ex-Senior Technician responsible for supervising major turnarounds, offshore and onshore.
All courses are monitored for feedback and comments are addressed to ensure the quality of our delivery is maintained, and we try to encourage open dialogue from our trainees.
