 Key responsibilities:

  • Technically and commercially evaluating customer requirements
  • Carry out application checks, generate bolt load calculations
  • Preparing and issuing professional quotations
  • Liaising with the engineering team to ensure customer needs are properly satisfied
  • Communicating with overseas customers and agents on a daily basis
  • Order processing and ownership through to despatch
  • Technical support customers, overseas regional offices, service personnel, manufacturing & purchasing
  • Assisting other internal teams with best practice solutions
  • Recommendation / confirmation of product being requested or offered
  • Cost efficient and best practice solutions for customers – with maximum margin for HT.
  • Close liaison with sales teams to ensure specifications and customer requirements are fully met, from initial enquiry to commission.
  • Carrying out specific bolt and flange load calculations to satisfy all aspects of customer contracts, but to ensure compliance with company procedures and external design codes
  • Compile the necessary technical and commercial documentation to fulfil contractual requirements and quality procedures.

Candidates wishing to be considered for this position should possess the following qualifications / experience:

  •  A minimum HNC qualification in Mechanical Engineering
  •  Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  •  The ability to communicate confidently at all levels
  •  The ability to work to tight deadlines
